Wow... It's been a year since I posted here. Time flies. Just celebrated another birthday by going on a cruise from New Orleans to Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico. Pictures are on Facebook. Let's see... In the last year, I moved from YW presidency to Primary presidency; and David moved from YM president to Ward Exec Sec to EQP. That and work and David doing school part time keeps us pretty busy.

Saturday morning we, along with David’s coworkers, took part in a MDS (muscular dystrophy) Walk.  Then we went and totally vacuumed out the car.  After that we went to Costco, and ran into David’s dad and brother there. How time flies! Here’s what we’ve been up to since the end of October... For Christmas we flew to Phoenix and stayed at David’s sister and brother-in-law’s house and spent time with David’s parents and all of his siblings. In mid-January we flew to New Mexico to visit Sheila’s parents and brother who were living down there during the winter months – and also to visit some extended family.

David spent last Thursday and Friday evenings helping his cousin, Adam, with some car repairs. Friday I went to the play Les Miserables at a the Taylorsville High School with my neighbor friends (and have had those songs stuck in my head ever since). I had a great birthday. My main birthday present was my trip to San Diego, but to celebrate on my actual birthday my mother-in-law and sister-in-law took me out to Cafe Rio for lunch. When I got back from lunch with them, David had sent me beautiful flowers at work. Here's an update to my previous post about David Frankensteining two Acura Legend's together to make one perfectly-running Acura. Since my last post, he has now removed all coolant hoses, the throttle assembly, a dozen or more vacuum hoses, the starter, thermostat, idle air valve, and charcoal canister (and some other stuff that isn't really blog-worthy).He still needs to pull the cv joints/axles
